Thailand does not really have a strong breakfast culture. So it is common for places to not really have a “breakfast” menu. Although I love a good Thai-styled omelette with rice for breakfast- it gets old for this müsli addict.

Finding western styled breakfasts can be hard, but when I find it— I’m so grateful for it. 🥞 😍 This morning I had müsli, joghurt, and fruit. Needless to say, I’m living my best life. It’s all about the small things in life, amirite?

I’m so curious: what is the one food you miss while you’re traveling? The hardest for me has definitely been breakfast while I’m in Asia.

I feel like I have this mental ritual every single Friday where I re-elvauate my week. I take a look at my successes and failures, what changes I need to implement for the next week, and then realign my actions with my vision.

This week I realized did a great job slowing down, and enjoying my environment. In Mexico, I was a little high strung and did not take very many slow moments. I quickly realized, that I was on the road to burn-out.

After all, I am in freaking Chiang Mai, Thailand working with one of my best friends. I remember thinking this lifestyle would never be possible, and now I am living my dreams. But the consist strife lead me to feel like I need to hit another goal mark. So this next week I am going to allow myself to have more aw-struck moments. Like right now, when I am typing on my cute little laptop in a cute little coffee shop with a Thai tea.

Traveling to places for me is much more than a “vacation”. It’s an opportunity to expand my knowledge on cultures. No matter which city I am in, I try to always meet and encounter locals. That is why I am such a fan of AirBNB experiences!🌎

Today, my tour guide Kiki taught me about his personal faith with buddhism and let me join him on one of his morning rituals. He also gave me a tour to one of his top temples— it was an unforgettable experience.

  • LET ME SHARE SOME MEXICO TRAVEL TIPS WITH Y’ALL. Spending one month in Mexico really taught me a lot that I wish I would have known before I went. So here is my list:

•My NUMBER ONE TIP: do not lose your tourist card! You get this at the airport, and well I didn’t know I needed it for my way back so I lost $50 having to replace it.🙄 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•Eat local food! It’s much better and much cheaper! Try going down the alleyways of main touristic strips (watch my last YouTube video for this)🍴 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•Rent a scooter to explore the city you are in.🛵 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•Do not drink the water. Stick to bottled water.💧

•Don’t stress. Mexico is NOT what the media portrays it be.😜
